Workforce development guidelines and tools

Guidelines and tools are developed to support workforce development, meeting the specific requirements of clients.

Previous projects include the following:

On-line toolkit

Development of content for an on-line toolkit for the Emergency Planning College, including cross-referencing of college courses to the relevant national occupational standards (Emergency Planning College/Skills for Justice, 2008-2009).

Case studies

A series of case studies illustrating how a range of employers make effective use of the Management and Leadership national occupational standards (Management Standards Centre, 2006).

Recruitment & selection policy and procedures

Policy and procedures developed to support effective recruitment and selection, and implemented across the organisation through a series of workshops with middle and senior managers (London City Airport, 1997-2005). 

Performance objectives

A set of performance objectives, describing the practical experience component for membership of the Association of Chartered Certified Accounts (ACCA, 2004-2005).

Staff development toolkit

Human resources management guidance notes and related pro-forma documents available as a book and on-line resource, designed for managers of drug and alcohol services and residential homes (National Treatment Agency, 2003).
